1976 – 1983 Primary school teaching in Sydney including 3.5 years as ESL teacher
1983 – 1987 Living in Switzerland, giving private English classes, manufacturing wooden toys and being mother to two children
1988 – 1996 Teaching around Mudgee including relieving principal in a small school for 6 months, early intervention work with young children with disabilities, special education with high school students
1996 – 2005 Casual teaching in primary schools in Moruya and Bodalla area
2005 Contract work with Sydney English Language Centre doing study tours and preparing students for high school
